In addition to being Bella and Rayna's mommy, Shannah is the founder of Live Like Bella. In 2013 while Bella lay in a coma, it was Shannah's online passionate plea for people to go out and serve others and #LiveLikeBella that captured the hearts and minds of millions across the globe. Shannah served the Miami Dade County Public School District as a Special Education teacher for many years until caring for Bella caused her to step down.
In addition to her role as Founder and Vice Chair of Live Like Bella, Shannah is an entrepreneur and frequently volunteers for many worthy causes in her community. She also councils and guides new families diagnosed with cancer.
Shannah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Florida, and holds certifications in Health & Nutrition from The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and in medical coding and billing from Florida Gulf Coast University. Shannah resides in Miami with her husband Raymond, daughter Rayna and their 5 dogs.
