The “Bell of Hope” Endowment Fund was established at the Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation to ensure sustained support in the fight against childhood cancer. This endowment helps guarantee long-term resources, ensuring the foundation’s continuous operation, while creating a legacy of hope.

History:

The name of the fund was inspired by the long-awaited ceremony that takes place when a cancer patient finishes chemotherapy or radiation therapy. It has become a tradition to ring a bell to mark the end of their treatment. However, Live Like Bella® believes cancer fighters should be celebrated every step of the way. The “Bell of Hope” is located at our headquarters in Coral Gables, FL. It has created meaningful and inclusive moments of treatment, so that children can ring for a good scan, a good lab result, or even just a good day at any point of their journey.

Founding Member Donor Recognition:

The “Bell of Hope” is surrounded by commemorative tiles encircling the bell. In appreciation of their generosity, the first 200 donors to make a minimum gift of $5,000 specifically designated to the endowment fund, will have their names etched on the tiles symbolizing a lasting commitment to the fight against childhood cancer. 

Every time a child rings the bell, they will find comfort in knowing that future cancer fighters will have the same opportunity, thanks to the ongoing support of generous donors, whose names grace the wall.
