Monica Diaz Ponce joined the Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation as Director of Community Partnerships in December of 2017. Long before joining the Foundation, she was already a supporter having prayerfully posted about Bella on the night of her passing in May of 2013. Today Monica is our Senior Director of Operations and Events. Prior to joining the Live Like Bella® family she worked with both Baptist Health of South Florida Foundation and Miami Children’s Health Foundation overseeing events and special projects. She also led the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program. Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She and her husband Jorge welcomed their son Jacob in February 2023 and reside in Miami.
