Angie Santibáñez leads community engagement for Amazon Public Policy team in Florida. She works to create innovative community relations campaigns, driving business results and elevating the company image within communities. Her community investment work is aligned with business objectives. Prior to Amazon, she worked in the Social Impact/Nonprofit space for 10+ years and then worked 4 years in the financial services industry working in Corporate Social Responsibility arena, particularly with CRA and Community Development initiatives. Angie is active in the community, serving on a number of committees of civic, non-profit, and charitable organizations, including the United Way Miami Board, the Live Like Bella (LLB) Childhood Cancer Foundation Board, and the Orange Bowl Committee. She also serves in a few steering committees such as the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Public Policy Committee of United Way Miami and Leadership Florida SE Region Council. Angie has received numerous nods in recognition of her leadership and service. In 2021, she received the ICBA “Emerging Community Bank Leaders” Award; in 2022, she received Miami Dade Parks “In the Company of Women- Young Professional Award”; in 2023 she received the South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award; and was the recipient of the 33rd Annual Athena Young Professional Award from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. She was also honored as a “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” Honoree by Chapman Partnership and as a 2023 Hispanic Women of Distinction Honoree. She is also a graduate of Leadership Florida Connect Class 13 and Leadership Miami Class of 2013. Angie is a product of the 305 - born and raised in Miami, FL. She graduated from Miami Dade College with her Associate of Arts, then received her Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University and her MBA from Florida International University. Angie’s roots add another layer of her story: her parents immigrated from Cuba and Venezuela and instilled the value of hard work and perseverance. It is because of them that she has a passion for service- service to God, family, work, country and community. She is a proud wife, mother of two children, lover of college football (Go Canes!), wine, and traveling.
