Samuel Munoz, a 6-year-old boy from the Dominican Republic, has been battling leukemia since 2018. But last week marked a special milestone for him, one that our team was thrilled to celebrate. He stopped by our office to ring our reimagined “Bell of Hope” – a bell that doesn’t just mark the end of treatment but also celebrates big and small triumphs along the way! For him, it was a celebration of the beginning of a new chapter: healthy and cancer-free!
It was an afternoon filled with love, happy tears, enjoying sweet treats, and capturing the magic of it all. Below are a few words from his mom on the impact you’ve helped us make in his life:
“I am so thankful for all of the important work that you all do for families like us, to see the hand of God supporting us through you in these difficul moments is a clear answer that we are not alone. Samuel is now cured of cancer and thanks to you and your compassion; I can say with certainty that we are not alone. Thank you so much.”
