Financial Support: Families facing cancer receive direct financial assistance through programs like Forever Warrior, which offers $500 grants or bill pay for funeral expenses, and Keaton’s Hope Chest, which provides care packages to ease the burden at diagnosis.

Mia’s Miracles Foundation
Mission: Mia’s Miracles provides small blessings with large impacts, bringing comfort, hope, and positivity to children and families facing medical challenges.
Population Served: Families of children in treatment at partner hospitals in Florida and Colombia, as well as families nationwide with a child in active brain cancer treatment.
Financial Support: Through Mia’s Blessings, families receive grants to help cover essential expenses like rent, gas, utilities, and transportation, easing financial burdens during treatment.

Compass To Care Foundation
Mission: Compass to Care provides free Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) to help children with cancer access life-saving treatment and clinical trials, especially those facing poverty or financial hardship.
Population Served: Families across the United States with a child under 18 who is traveling for active cancer treatment.
Financial Support: Through programs like ACCESS LIFE, CARE & BACK™, and FLIGHTS FOR HOPE, Compass to Care fully covers transportation-related expenses including gas, parking, train fare, rideshare services, airfare, lodging, and ground transportation removing financial barriers to care.

A Moment of Magic
Mission: A Moment of Magic improves the quality of life and mental health of underserved children by inspiring bravery and resilience through creative, joy-filled experiences.
Population Served: Children ages 3–18 across all 50 states and 7 countries, supported through 30+ college chapters and virtual programming.
Financial Support: While the organization primarily offers emotional support, all programs—including character visits, creative play, and virtual events—are provided free of charge to families.

Mission: Maggie’s Mechanics eases the burden on families of children with cancer by providing essential vehicle maintenance and repair services completely free of charge.
Population Served: Families across South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, from all backgrounds and communities.
Financial Support: Offers no-cost vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure families can safely travel to and from treatment without the added stress of automotive expenses.

Dorin Wigs
Mission: Dorin Wigs helps individuals regain confidence during life’s most challenging moments by providing custom wigs that restore self-image and lift spirits.
Population Served: Serves clients globally through Zoom consultations, with an in-person location available here.
Financial Support: Offers a $500 voucher toward the cost of a custom wig, regardless of insurance approval, and provides additional guidance to connect clients with further financial resources.
Daniela Conte Foundation
Mission: The Daniela Conte Foundation provides financial assistance, raises pediatric cancer awareness, and funds research to support children fighting cancer and their families.
Population Served: Families residing in the NY Tri-State area (including NJ and CT) as well as FL, TN, OR, IL (Chicago), and MI.
Financial Support: Offers grants to cover essential expenses such as gas, groceries, utilities, rent, mortgage, and medical co-pays for families facing financial hardship due to a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Eligible patients must be 21 or younger and diagnosed before age 18.

Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation
Mission: The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation, founded in 1992, is a national organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for pediatric and adult cancer and transplant patients and their families by providing vital financial assistance, comprehensive resources, educational information, physician referrals and emotional support programs. All of the Foundation’s programs and services are offered free to patients and their families.
Population Served: BMCF is a national patient advocacy organization. BMCF assists patients of all ages, pediatric and adult, facing any cancer diagnosis or transplant.
Financial Support: Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation financial assistance program, Carelines, provides fundraising and journaling for anyone with a cancer diagnosis or receiving a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. Through Carelines, patients can reach out to family, friends, and social networks for financial support and to share updates, photos, and videos. All contributions to Carelines are tax deductible and do not affect a patient’s medical insurance or benefits. There are no eligibility requirements outside of having a cancer diagnosis or requiring a transplant.

Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation
Mission: To help children and their families fight cancer by providing emergency financial assistance for basic human necessities and supportive care services.
Population Served: Jessica June Foundation serves qualifying families fighting childhood cancer who reside throughout the state of Florida.
Financial Support: JJCF provides emergency financial relief to help low-income families fighting childhood cancer pay for everyday basic necessities such as rent, utilities, medical, car, gas and food. A child must be in treatment to fight cancer, under 18 years of age and residing in the state of Florida. Referrals are submitted via the child’s hospital social worker.

Children’s Cancer Center
Mission: The Children’s cancer center is a non profit organization dedicated to serving children and their families who are battling pediatric cancer or chronic blood disorders with the emotional, financial, educational support necessary to cope with their life threatening illness.
Population Served: Families treated at one of the hospitals St. Joseph’s Children Hospital, John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, or Muma Children’s Hospital at Tampa General Hospital, are eligible for our services at no cost.
Financial Support: Children’s Cancer Center has 30 support programs and services, currently helping over 5000 children and family members, support is offered to all members, support is offered to all members of the family and is available throughout every step of their difficult journey.
